Again, we have produced a single varietal Koroneiki extra virgin olive oil from the 93 trees which form our boundaries at the grove. In 2018, this oil won 'Best in Class' and a Gold medal. In 2020 and 2021, the Koroneiki again won Gold medals. This year - 2022 - it is a Silver medal winner. The 2022 oil is our mildest and it has a dash of Manzanillo in to give complexity. Think 'soft green' for this oil with late pungency. Reminiscent of a soft green vegetable such as choy sam (Chinese flowering cabbage). The Manzanillo gives a hint of green banana.  The judges described it as "having good intensity of aroma - ripe banana, lychee, jasmine and honeysuckle. Good complexity in the mouth - floral notes with olive fruit and green grass. Good bitterness and pungency, balanced with fruit - persistent and complex". Pair with anything to do with tomatoes.
